Travelgirl’s Review – Anahola Granola

Hi Everyone,

One of my friends came back from Hawaii and gave me a whole heap of stuff as souvenirs. One of them was a pack of granola. Here in Sydney, good quality ones are expensive so I was pretty excited to try these ones from overseas. She bought me a tropical one with a combo of macadamia nuts, papaya, pineapple, sweet coconut, oats, seeds and honey. The pack was a nice size and allowed me to have 6 bowls ie 6 breakfasts. This brand is a Hawaiian brand so definitely hard to find here in Sydney. If you do know of anywhere that sells this here, please let me know!

As you can see, there are lots of ingredients there. Lots of goodness to start the day off for breakfast. I have to say, I don’t eat much cereal normally but this one is definitely something to look for. The amount of coconut and pineapple really turns the boring nuts and oats to an amazing bowl of goodness. As it is packed with different things, you do get full from a small bowl.

If you are in Hawaii for a holiday, do look out for this. Highly recommended!

Luxury Glamping Breakfast @ Chateau Ramsak, Slovenia with Travelgirl

Hi Everyone,

For our glamping experience, dinner was not included so we bought food back to the tent. Breakfast on the other hand is included and it was wayyyyy better than what we expected. We woke up to a whole able of fresh local produce.

glamping breakfast

Please keep in mind although we paid for two adults as kids stay free, they offered more than enough food for the whole family. First up which was my favourite was the cold cut platter. Lots of cheese, sultanas, cold cuts, tomatoes etc. Then a full jug of freshly squeezed orange juice which was sufficient for the whole family. Next is a whole basket of different breads paired with butter and jam.

Then there was a muesli and fruit yoghurt which was delicious. After that we had large bowl of cut fruit consisting mango, strawberries, kiwi fruit, grapes etc. Lastly, they were so nice and cooked an egg for the boys and they attempted to make it shaped like a car. Of course there was tea and coffee to finish off. What an awesome breakfast to start the day. 5 star all the way!!

It’s time to leave after breakfast and we hoped next time we could stay longer. The weather continues to be miserable but we still enjoyed the stay. It was just perfect!

Breakfast at Kolektiv Cafe in Český Krumlov , Czech Republic

Hi Everyone,

While strolling around town, we found this cute cafe offering a nice menu for breakfast. They were very tourist friendly and offer a range of different food for all sorts of appetite.

kolektiv

Let’s have a look at the menu first. They offer the menu in English and in Czech so we were well looked after when it came to ordering our meals.

Let’s look at what we have ordered. We ordered a Kolektiv, sun-dried tomato and olive spread & pancakes & cereal for the kids to share. For drinks, we ordered a green tea and coffee.

The meal came in a timely and present beautifully. The olive paste from my meal was exceptional and is highly recommended if you come to this cafe. The kid’s pancakes were not popular amongst the kids but I ate it all. The eggs dish was acceptable and the dip was also very nice. We have noticed all their dips and pastes tastes really delicious and recommend to at least order a dish with them. There are also all sorts of pastries and cakes from the display which you can also order

The prices here are definitely cheaper than what we pay in Sydney and the food quality was brilliant. Normally we would expect to pay at least x2 more in Sydney. The cafe was nicely spaced out with plenty of seating and it was nice and cosy for a cold autumn morning.
